Two Minutes follows the story of Maisy Knight and Denver Cole, two members of the Weston Pack who have been main characters since the first Seven book, Seven Years. Denver, a warewolf member of the pack, has been Maisy's "watch dog" ever since her sister, Lexi, married Denver's brother, Austin, when Maisy was a toddler. Maisy and Denver are the comic relief who have provided a lighthearted break when the story threatened to get too intense from the complications or too sappy from the romance. They provided the balance that keeps this series strong.

Many years have pased and Maisy has been away to boarding school and then England for her education. She and Denver have drifted apart, neither know how their lives fit together. Denver is drifting along without is sidekick when a sexy, grown up Maisy comes home unannounced hoping to see if she still has a place in the Weston Pack and Denver's life or if she should start searching for her place in the human world.

This is by far the best book in the Seven series, a series which has only become better as it goes along instead of fading away as so many other series do. I alternately laughed out loud at Maisy and Denver's antics, sighed at their sexual chemistry and cried at the hardships they endure. It amazes me as to how Dannika Dark continues to create memorable characters who remain distinct from all the other characters in the series. Her premises are original, her characters interesting, her pacing tight. The thought I had as I closed my kindle after a marathon read this afternoon was: who will be the focus of the final book of the series?

There are no cliffhangers and each book can be read as a stand alone though you might want to save time and just buy all six in the series. Once you read one, you will want to read them all....like right away. I highly recommend this book.

Fans of Dannika Dark's "Seven" series have known since book 1 that Denny and Maizy have always had a special relationship within the closely-knit pack/family. But in this world where humans age but shifters do not, I wondered what would become of these two characters as Maizy grew up, hoping that a romance would blossom. When "Denny's book" was announced, I confess that I was a bit worried that their story would be a little boring, without as much stay-glued-to-your-book suspense as in the 5 previous books in this series. Not to worry about that! As I kept turning the pages, the complexities of several main characters (and a couple of plot twists) really kept me thinking that the author might actually be planning a surprise ending far different than the one I expected when I started reading the book. When the situation becomes dire, can love really overcome all, or will one lover sacrifice everything to save the other's life? This story was an exciting, heartbreaking journey that finally reached a happily-ever-after destination. Thank goodness! Can't wait for the next book!
After reading all the books in Dannika’s Mageri Series and the Seven Series all I can say is I loved both series and she is now one of my top Authors. . I’m looking forward to reading her latest series called Crossbreed. Both series were exciting, loving, humorous, and suspenseful and I even cried. Dannika’s humor is like no other and I found myself laughing out loud. She is such a clever word smithy. I apparently read the 2 series out of the recommend order. I read the Seven Series first and the Mageri Series second but it did not make any difference in the story telling. I was glad I read them in the order I did as I was left with a Big surprise and a very happy heart when I read the last book “The Gift” in the Mageri Series on the last pages. I was left with such a happy and satisfied feeling as the two series were connected in a special way that worked for me. I wish the series could have gone on forever as I loved the characters in both series. It was like having to say good-bye to friends you love. I highly recommend Dannika’s work and especially these two series.
